Delegates

Shaeel Ali, Student of Law
Greetings!
My name is Shaeel, and I am currently in my 7th year studying law at JLU.
I am honored to represent the JLU at the upcoming NMUN conference !
Coming from a political background and with a deep interest in politics (shoutout to my PoWi teachers!), I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to create change. Participating at NMUN might not change the world overnight, but it serves as a powerful platform to bring people from across the globe together. It provides an opportunity to advocate for a political climate based on dialogue and communication rather than division and radicalization.
In today’s political climate, it is more important than ever to stand for these values to ensure peace and freedom for all—whether they live in cities, rural areas or near rivers and seas.
Leon Boos, Student of Law
Hi, my name is Leon Boos, I am 20 years old, and currently in the third semester of my law studies.
I am interested in immersing myself in different countries, their respective cultures as well as their interconnections, which is why I developed a broader interest in public international law. Being able to experience and shape public international law practically at the United Nation in New York is an opportunity for me to deepen my interest in a unique way. I am also interested in meeting several people across the world, working together with them and getting to know their background and goals in life. Thus, I am eager to represent Japan at the GA3 committee, dealing with the protection of and assistance for refugees, returnees and displaced persons as well as the topic of human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation.
